B.Sc. (2009) in Environmental Engineering at Technical University of Denmark, M.Sc. (2013) in Environmental Engineering with specialization in water resources at Technical University of Denmark, Master thesis title: “Using remote sensing to inform a large-scale river basin model of the Chari-Logone system”. 2014-2016: Employment at NIRAS a/s as an environmental engineering consultant, working mainly with groundwater modelling.
My Ph.D. study will focus at quantifying water fluxes and water balances at local sites representing forest, agriculture, heathland and wetland respectively. I will be using a complex process-based soil-vegetation-atmosphere transfer model, which will be calibrated against the various observations using the newest facilities in the PEST software package for parameter estimation and uncertainty analysis. Subsequently results will be up-scaled to catchment scale using upscaling methods and hydrological modelling. |
