It is the goal to bring together PhD students from different disciplines thereby bridging areas of hydrology, biology, and ecology. There is a need for cross-disciplinary courses like this as the number of PhD studies in ecohydrology are growing world-wide. The course will combine advanced topics on wetland ecosystems theory and modelling (hydrology, biogeochemistry) with new technological advances for developing ecohydrological methods.
